FAQ !
Since we started this thing we've gotten literally tens of questions
that are swamping our in-boxes at the rate of 3 a month! Hopefully
this will help us simplify our lives and answer your questions!
So here we go!!!!!!
1. Q: What are you all doin'? (usually asked while shooting in
public)
A: Shootin' a show man, what's it look like were doin'?
2. Q: What's all this stuff about "Classic" BOF?
A: The original Brains On Film was a public access TV show that
ran in Lexington KY, from 1989 to 1991. From there the show was
picked up by a low power Finnish TV station until 1999. These
115 shows, featuring such fin-centric themes as "Ludvig Borga"night
and "We're the whitest fucking people on the planet" night, are
considered the "lost" episodes of brains on film.
3. Q: Are there any plans to air these "lost" episodes?
A: We'd love to air these episodes but, hello Einstein, they're
LOST! Try to keep up will ya?
4. Q: Are you guys hoping to make money off the show?
A: Yes.
5. Q: How?
A: We have absolutely no fucking idea.
6. Q: What sort of equipment do you guys use to shoot the show?
A: Well, we got these big fuckin' lights and man they are BRIGHT.
Like give you a sunburn bright. And we got these cameras that
are video cameras but they use smaller tapes than regular video
tapes but they look better which is weird since it seems like
bigger tapes should look better because they should, like, hold
more video? And we got these funny little microphones. I mean
they are Tiny! Man, they crack me up. Little microphones and shit...

7. Q: How do you decide when to shoot the show?
A: Whenever I'm suffering from some sort of virus or sickness,
thats when Tread and George decide to shoot.
8. Q: What made you guys decide to bring the show back and broadcast
it on the internet?
A: Tread and I had been bugging George for about 3 years about
how we thought it was a good idea. Then George's wife told him
she thought it was a good idea, and here we are.
9. Q: I have some great ideas for future shows! Can I submit
them to you guys?
A: No. Your ideas are stupid.
10: Q: You guys drink beer on camera just like The Man Show!
A: That's more of a statement than a question, don't you think?
11. Q: Are you guys ripping off The Man Show by drinking
beer on camera?
A: Beer drinking on camera was an integral part of the original
show that began in 1989. This "1989" point should also answer
any other "are you ripping off" questions regarding MST3K,
Joe Bob Briggs, that shitty Sandra Bernhart show that was on USA,
and quite a few others. We are, however, ripping off "XUXA"
at every opportunity.
12: Q: What is "JAZZ"?
A: Man, if ya have to ask, you'll never know. (Ok, That was ripped
off from MST3K.)
